Freud said: "The unconscious nor lies nor grows older." Freud’s statement about the unconscious simply means that the experiences of the past influence your present and future. The experiences that happen in childhood are still relevant today. Why? Because the past is relevant. This means that the person does not forget what happened. You may not remember it and call it forgotten but what really happens is that those painful experiences become a part of the subconscious mind.

For the emotional and spiritual, there is no time or space. Pain suffered ten, twenty or fifty years ago, remains as real as if it had happened this morning. The past still matters. You can now live in the present, but that past pain is affecting your way of thinking and feeling today.

How active is the past?
Twenty, thirty or maybe forty years ago, you would have a traumatic experience that would be put into your subconscious mind using a defense mechanism called Suppression. Since there is no distance between past and present, wounds are still alive as if they were present. If you do not face these wounds of the past, pain will follow in the future. Space and time do not matter when we talk about these experiences.

You react when the last active fires.
You react, not act. If it acts, it controls everything. If you respond, you do not have anything under control. Pathway of Death or Life... Genesis, will present many of these children that were marked by the pain of rejection, disaffection, dysfunctional families, how that child or adolescent was conceived, an endless number of situations that in most cases lead to hate, the transfer of the depressive vacuum of people who ultimately manipulated them. Try to arrive early at the root of the situation that led to that child's decision to become a murderer to salary.
